Family Nest

Family Nest is a concept of a bath complex on Bali. The project is built around a system of prefabricated functional modules — Heat, Nest, and Back Yard Baths, Water Zone, and Pergola. Each module operates as an independent architectural element that can be adapted to different sites and configurations.

Larger structures, such as the main pavilion (Luma-Zha), are produced as large-format assemblies in controlled factory conditions and then transported to the construction site. This hybrid workflow ensures high precision, material consistency, and adaptability to local conditions.

The complex is conceived as a flexible, evolving environment — a sequence of open and sheltered spaces that merge architecture, landscape, and ritual. The interplay between form, vegetation, and water creates a sense of privacy and immersion, while the site's relief and orientation make every implementation unique.
