HeartFelt

HeartFelt is a mobile, prefabricated bathhouse designed for collective use and shared experience. Developed together with Steamology Institute, it reinterprets the bathhouse as a traveling public space — a place where community can gather, pause, and reconnect through the ritual of heat and rest.

The structure is built on a lightweight steel frame with a layered composite shell. Each panel integrates insulation, vapor barrier, and finishing layer, ensuring thermal efficiency and durability in diverse climates. The system uses only six prefabricated part types and folds into one-third of a standard shipping container, making it easy to transport, assemble, and relocate across sites and regions.

HeartFelt's interior is conceived as an open communal chamber — adaptable to different climates and cultural contexts. It functions as both a sauna and a social core: a temporary public room that brings people together wherever it lands.
