Tetris 2.0

Tetris 2.0 explores the intersection of preservation and prefabrication. The project reconstructs an early industrial building, retaining its existing brick shell and structural rhythm, while inserting a new system of prefabricated residential modules within it.

This dual structure — a preserved historic envelope and a modular infill — defines both the construction logic and the architectural expression of the project. The old facade and load-bearing walls provide continuity with the urban fabric, while the prefabricated volumes introduce a new layer of precision, flexibility, and speed of assembly.

The ground level is left open for parking and shared access. Two upper floors accommodate modular apartments assembled from volumetric units. The result is a hybrid typology that bridges the permanence of traditional masonry with the adaptability of contemporary modular design.
